ARC Review - Rabbit Hole by EM Jae Black

Rabbit Hole by EM Jae Black This book is fire!  I don’t know how to express how this book makes me feel. It’s dirty and sweet, It’s endearing and scary, it is all the holidays wrapped up in one spicy delicious bite. This is one of the few books that I want to read just a little bit more. Obviously, there are characters and pairs where I want to know a little bit more but usually, I am satisfied with a good epilogue and maybe a bonus chapter or two. But in the case of Adair and Jack, I want more full-length books period! It’s kinda crazy how these two take over my brain. The dynamic they created in Jack Rabbit turns even more enhanced in Rabbit Hole. We see them realize that they aren't just compatible in their k!nk lifestyle but also everyday life. It is not the smoothest of journeys to get to that elusive HEA but in the case of Adair and Jack, I don't think we would have liked it any other way.  Mind you if you are a newbie to the world of pr!mal play and k!nk, tread w...

ARC Review - Estranged Heart by Ashlynn Mills

Estranged Heart by Ashlynn Mills There is a fine balance you have to master when writing about heavy subjects like the death of a spouse, a life-threatening illness, cheating and violence and in this book, Ashlynn Mills does so.  The book is gut-wrenching, suspenseful and sad but at the same time, you feel hope and love. You equally love and dislike the characters and the choices they make. This is where the balance kicks in. You as a reader are invited to an emotional roller coaster and along the way you understand why the characters make the decisions that they make. And you have to question yourself what would you have done in the same situation!? The book's essence is grounded in the question; Can your heart love someone you have never met? And if you meet said person, what should you do?  Silas and Elijah have to work for their HEA, and the journey is long and lined with many obstacles. I don't want to spoil the book, so you have to bear with me when I am being vague. I a...

ARC Review - Loving Leo by Cora Rose & Nicole Dykes

Loving Leo by Cora Rose and Nicole Dykes Behind the Camera Book 4 This was a fun quick read about Leo and Heath. Leo is an up-and-coming cam boy who wants the shot at becoming one of the stars on Carter's exclusive site. But in his quest to stardom he needs to take some risks, risks like filming content in an office that belongs to the man, Heath, he technically works for. But boy is it worth the risk when he is interrupted and the fans go bananas over him getting caught. This begins a cat-and-mouse game where they tease and taunt each other. But the taunting turns into getting to know each other and the connection they felt when they first meet turns into something more. This was a shorter read but oh so funny and steamy. Leo is a darling and Heath is a grump with heart and they mesh well. Even with the age gap and monetary imbalance, they find things in common and that makes them work. Heath is a jealous bean but also very supportive of Leo and I can get behind that. Leo is che...

Review - Single Dads Club Book 1-4 by A.J. Truman

4,5⭐️ The Falcon and the Foe Single Dads Club Book 1 I fell in love with this book! It was hilarious, sweet, angsty and all things in between. The storyline is quite straightforward, two single dads who couldn't be more different. You could say that they have that enemies-to-lovers vibe because they may hate each other but they are also very attracted to each other.  Russ is in the words of Cal, a stuck-up, anal (not in the fun way) scout leader that is #DadGoals and when the scout trope he leads needs a new co-leader, Cal volunteers out of spite. But the longer they work together, the more they realize that the other person is not as bad as they thought and that they have more income than they first thought. Both may have sworn off romance to focus on their kids but que a too-small tent, smores and skinny dipping to change the trajectory of their relationship forever.  The book is filled with snarky banter, tent puns and spice to fill an evening in front of the fire. You will...

ARC - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Us, Daddy by Lance Lansdale

5⭐️ Kiss Kiss Band Bang Us, Daddy by Lance Lansdale Murder Daddy Book 3 We are back in the Murder Daddy Universe, and now it’s time for the Ben’s to find their HEA with a perfect Daddy. And if they get to decide, Nate is the one. When we meet Benji and Bennet again, they are staying with Tatum's dad Nate and they are trying to find their way back from the h*ll they've been through. It is hard, but they power through. They have each other, but there is something missing.  In all their previous relationships, they have had at least a 3rd person with them because they don’t do the smexy stuff with each other. So when Benji feels that maybe Nate is the perfect Daddy for them, he and Bennet come up with a plan. A slightly unhinged one, but what the hearts want the hearts tries to get. The plan is to get Nate, who is a sexologist, to help them get comfortable with smexy time together and also show him that maybe he needs two precious boys to take care of and help him find his groo...

Review - Humility by Lark Taylor

4,5⭐️ Humility by Lark Taylor Damned Connections Book 4 I have been patiently waiting to find out how Danny and Riley became a couple and I wasn't disappointed. We start with a bang (pun intended) and then we have a five-year time jump. In this book, the time jump makes so much sense. Throughout the book, we get tidbits on how their friendship grew and evolved to the place they are today. Without that, I think what happens next wouldn't work. We needed the stability and knowledge that these two were thick as thieves and know each other very well. We meet two people who are against entering a relationship for various reasons but when life happens Danny has to make that big decision that will change everything. Riley is so hes...
